FAQ

What is the International House of Prayer?
We are an evangelical Christian ministry dedicated to prayer and worship. Our main ministry focus is operating a 24/7 prayer room, located at our Red Bridge Center on East Red Bridge Road. You will find people in the prayer room around the clock. We also have a full-time Bible school and four internships, and are involved in the work of Christian ministry, including evangelism, ministry to the poor, works of compassion and outreach, healing the sick, and making disciples. Our vision is to work in relationship with the wider Body of Christ to engage in the Great Commission, as we seek to walk out the two great commandments to love God and people.

Who comes to the International House of Prayer?
Visitors come from all over the United States and from around the world. Our conferences and events alone draw over 50,000 visitors annually, and many come simply to spend time in the prayer room. View our live, 24/7 prayer room webstream »

Why do so many people visit the prayer room?
Through our 24/7 webstream, partnership with GOD TV, and many books, articles, and teaching materials on the gospel of Jesus Christ, our ministry is known around the world. As a result, many people decide to come and visit the prayer room.

How do I check out the prayer room for myself?
Everyone is welcome to visit our prayer room at any time; we are open 24/7. Our Welcome Center staff, located in the prayer room lobby, are happy to answer any questions about our ministry organization and provide you with literature explaining more about who we are. We also hold weekend seminars, annual conferences, special classes, and programs throughout the year, teaching on biblical Christianity and the house of prayer. Information on these events »
