FAQ Do all of my donations directly support the missions base? Yes. No matter the amount of your gift, 100 percent of the funds go directly to the International House of Prayer Missions Base. This includes everything from the practical operation of the prayer room to helping support full-time intercessors, worship leaders, singers and musicians, and support staff. Are worship leaders, singers, and musicians supported with any of my donations? Yes. We provide small stipends to some full-time staff as needed. Our staff build their own financial support team of individuals who partner with them financially and in prayer. As we are able, we help these worshipers and intercessors with small missionary stipends as they pour themselves out day by day before the Lord. As intercessory missionaries, we commit to living a fasted lifestyle of simplicity so that we might give more. Mailing a Check for Staff Support Please make checks payable to “IHOPKC.” Include a note showing the staff member’s first and last name. Red Bridge Road Kansas City, MO 64137 How much does it cost to operate the prayer room per day? It costs approximately $13,000 per twenty-four-hour period to operate the prayer room. This is for three categories of expenses, and is not indicative of the cost of the rest of the missions base operations or ministries. How do International House of Prayer staff members support themselves financially? Our staff members commit to raise their own financial support through the development of a team of personal partners. They communicate with their home churches, family, and friends, and cast the vision for the raising up of full-time worshipers and intercessors. When possible, we love to help support our full-time missionaries with small missionary stipends. Your gifts make that possible. Why do you have to ask for my credit card information again if I have already given it? In order to keep your credit card information secure, we assign an authorization code for it. This authorization code is stored in our system, but your actual credit card number is not. While it may seem redundant, it maximizes the security of your credit card. Will you automatically debit my bank account or credit card each month? You can sign up online to have your gift come through as an auto-deduction from your debit or credit card each month. If you don’t have a Partners account, you can simply follow this link to our giving site, where you can activate your Partners account. If you feel more comfortable giving monthly by check, please make your check payable to “IHOPKC” and mail to “3535 E. How do I change the amount of my monthly gift? The process for changing your monthly giving amount is easiest if you contact us. For prompt assistance, please contact our office directly to make changes over the phone or by email. Can I choose a date for my donations to be deducted? Yes. You can designate the day you want your monthly gift deducted from your credit or debit card when you sign up online. Your donation will be auto-deducted on the day of your choice, for example, the 15th of every month. Can I change the date of my monthly donation? Yes, you can change the donation date by contacting our office. Can I give online? Yes. You can follow this link to our online donations page, or you can read more about ways to donate. On the donations page, you can select a gift—either a one-time gift or a monthly gift—for the amount you feel the Lord has placed on your heart. You can set up your monthly gift to be auto-deducted from your debit or credit card on a specific day each month. You can access your account at any time if you wish to give a one-time gift to other areas of need on the missions base. Do I receive a receipt for my gifts to the International House of Prayer? Yes. A receipt of your gifts is sent to you in two ways, monthly and annually*. You can choose either electronic or hard-copy receipts. Please contact our office to update your statement preferences. You will receive a monthly electronic receipt via email showing a summary of your gifts from the previous month. If you have given more than $25 in a calendar year and have a US address, we will automatically generate an annual tax-deductible giving statement for you at the close of each year. A hard copy will be mailed to you by January of the following year. (*Quarterly statements are available upon request.) What if my giving statement is incorrect? If you discover that your gifts are not accurately reflected on your annual tax statement or monthly electronic receipt, email firstname.lastname@example.org to ask questions about your giving statement.
